Noida, Sep 10 (APAC Media): The rupee declined 25 paise to 95.33 against the US dollar in early trade on [day], weighed down by a stronger American currency and cautious sentiment in the domestic market.
At the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened weaker and slipped further to 95.33 against the US dollar, down 25 paise from its previous close.
Forex traders said market participants were tracking global currency movements and developments in international markets for further direction.
The domestic currency also remained sensitive to movements in crude oil prices, foreign fund flows and broader risk sentiment.
The rupee had settled at 95.08 against the US dollar in the previous trading session.
Market participants are expected to closely watch global economic cues and foreign exchange flows during the day.
